This workbook is an initiative of the NSW Medicines Information Special Interest Group and was made possible by the hard work of many contributors.
It will support you as a pharmacy technician no matter where you work. The tutorials in this package have been chosen to build on rather than supplement topics covered in Australia's qualifications for hospital pharmacy technicians and assistants. They assume that the reader is a relatively experienced hospital pharmacy technician or assistant and has completed or is working towards completion of the Certificate IV qualification. The tutorials aim to extend concepts that may have been touched on in the qualifications or detail topics that hospital pharmacy technicians and assistants come across in the workplace.
